Announcement of Leadership Transition

Dear Valued Communities and Colleagues,  

We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to announce the departure of Dr. Alice Wong, the Executive Director of Playright due to personal reasons. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for her contributions to Playright.  She has played a significant role in our growth and success. Her last day will be Aug 15, 2024. 

In light of this transition, we are pleased to announce that Ms Aby Chau will be stepping in as the Designated Acting Executive Director of Playright effective immediately, and will serve as Acting Executive Director from Aug 15, 2024.   

Ms Aby Chau has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep commitment to our mission for many years. With her experience and dedication, we are confident that she will lead us with skill and passion during this interim period. 

We wish to assure all our stakeholders that despite this change, the management team at Playright remains committed to ensuring the stability and continuity of our operations. The Executive Committee (Exco) of Playright will be working closely with the Acting Executive Director to facilitate a smooth transition, and uphold our organisational values and goals. 

We value the support and trust that you have placed in Playright, and we are grateful for your continued partnership as we navigate this transition together.
